3. Hardware installation + full system transfer: we clone your old drive — Windows, programs and files stay exactly as they were. Prefer a fresh start? We will do a clean Windows installation

5. Load testing and handover — when parts are in stock, often the same day or within one business day; otherwise about 3 working days on average, with express out-of-queue repair available for a surcharge

How much does a laptop upgrade cost?

It depends on the components and capacities: disk replacement prices are in the table at the bottom of this page, and RAM upgrade prices are in the full price list. An initial check and minimum cost estimate are free; in-depth compatibility diagnostics that require disassembly are paid. You get the final quote before any work.

What should I upgrade first — SSD or RAM?

If your laptop still has a mechanical drive — an SSD gives the biggest jump. If you already have an SSD and the laptop chokes on multitasking — it is RAM’s turn. During diagnostics we measure and recommend what gives you the most value.

Will my files and programs stay?

Yes. We clone the old drive to the new one — the operating system, programs, passwords and files transfer as they are. Your laptop comes back ready to work.

How long does an upgrade take?

In most cases it is ready the same day — including system cloning, cleaning and thermal paste. Complex upgrades or very large drives can take one extra business day.

What SSD size should I choose?

For most users 500GB–1TB is the right balance of price and capacity. If you work with video, photos or games — we recommend 1TB and up. We will help you choose based on your actual usage.

My laptop is 6–7 years old — is an upgrade worth it?
