A bit about us
Comp Master has been operating in Ashdod since 2014, at the same address: 6 Gai Oni Street, the small shopping centre in Rova Tet. A registered business, a team of around five people, and Sergey, the owner, works in the lab alongside the team every day.
- Repairing desktops, laptops, Apple Macs and PlayStation / Xbox consoles; building PCs: gaming rigs, workstations and mini PCs
- Three areas of business: the repair lab, the online shop compshop.co.il and the spare parts warehouse comp-parts.co.il
- Written procedures, checklists and a daily end-of-day report; every order tracked in a CRM
- Private customers and other repair labs from all over Israel
- Structured onboarding: a digital course for each role + a personal mentor
Who we are looking for
This role requires component-level board repair experience. Beyond experience, four things matter to us:
- A desire to learn the trade properly — from our side: a digital course for the role and a personal mentor throughout the onboarding period
- Order and accuracy — from our side: a written procedure and a checklist for every task, so it's always clear what's expected
- A good attitude towards customers and colleagues — from our side: a small team and an owner who works alongside you and is open to questions
- Long-term stability — from our side: a written contract from day one, pay steps known in advance and a monthly bonus for whoever does the job well
What every employee gets with us
- A written contract from day one with all the terms: hourly rate, pay steps and the bonus checklist
- Hourly pay and statutory payments are guaranteed. Bonuses follow the role-specific rules below and in the employment contract.
- A payslip every month, pay by bank transfer by the 9th of the month, on time and by the book; pension, havra'a (convalescence pay), annual leave, sick leave and public holidays as required by law + travel allowance
- Months 1–2: fully paid training, with no performance targets
- From month 3: bonuses under the rules set out in the contract.
- No shifts, no nights, no Saturdays; overtime at 125% / 150% as required by law

- All the work is on site at 6 Gai Oni Street — no field service, no travelling to customers

🔧 Laptop Board Repair Technician-Engineer
The hardest repairs in the lab are yours: diagnosing and repairing laptop motherboards at component level. We have a microscope, soldering equipment, a bench power supply and an oscilloscope; every order is managed in our CRM.
What you will do
- Diagnose laptops that do not power on, do not charge or have liquid damage
- Repair laptop motherboards at component level — using schematics and boardview
- Replace DC jacks, USB, HDMI and other connectors
- SMD soldering and BGA work (chip replacement and reballing)
- Log every job in the CRM: what was found, what was replaced, test result
- a short report at the end of each working day — what was done and what is left
What we ask for
- Required: experience in component-level board repair (laptops or other electronics)
- Confident with a soldering iron, hot-air station, microscope and multimeter
- Reading schematics and boardview — a big advantage
- Russian required — the team speaks Russian; Hebrew is an advantage
- Care, precision and patience for fine work
What you get
- Sun–Thu from 8 hours a day (the lab is open 9:00–19:00) and Friday 9:00–14:00 — required (occasionally Friday off when a replacement is available). 10 hours a day — preferred, not required. Want to earn more — you can work maximum hours. No shifts, nights or Saturdays
- Overtime as required by law: 125% for the first two hours a day, 150% after that; hours are logged in the CRM
- From 55 ₪ per hour — the exact rate depends on experience, agreed at the meeting
- Plus bonuses under the rules written in the contract
- Pension, convalescence pay, holidays, sick leave, travel and an employee discount — as described above
What the hiring process looks like
- A short phone call, 5–10 minutes
- A meeting at the lab: getting to know each other and a short practical task
- A written contract with all the terms — on day one
- First 3 months: fully paid training and onboarding, with a mentor and a written plan
