Has your computer started sounding like a hairdryer? Does it shut down in the middle of a game? Do games stutter after ten minutes even though the hardware is strong? In most of these cases the cause is a clogged cooling system and dried-out thermal paste — not a broken component.

A desktop pulls in room air, and with it dust, hair and pet fur. Within a year or two the heatsink fins are blocked, fans run harder, and CPU and graphics temperatures climb. Once the threshold is crossed the computer throttles itself or shuts down — exactly the symptoms that look like “the computer burned out”.

When it’s time for a cleaning

• Fans are loud even on the desktop, with no load.
• The computer shuts down by itself during gaming or video editing.
• The case is hot to the touch and the airflow at the exhaust is barely noticeable.

What the service includes

1. Disassembly — partial (cleaning fans and heatsink in place) or full (removing components from the case), depending on the machine’s condition.
2. Thorough cleaning — dust from heatsinks, fans, the power supply and filters.
3. New thermal paste on the CPU, and on graphics cards new thermal pads as well.
4. Fan inspection — noisy bearings, a fan that won’t spin, worn wiring.
5. Temperature measurement before and after under load, so you see the difference in numbers.

Why not do it at home with an air compressor

Blowing dust out with compressed air looks simple, but three mistakes come back to us every week: spinning fans with the air stream (which damages the motor electrically), pushing dust deeper into the case instead of out, and above all removing the heatsink without replacing the thermal paste afterwards. Old paste that was disturbed and put back raises temperatures higher than before the cleaning. If you’ve taken it apart, fresh paste is mandatory.

FAQ

How often should a desktop be cleaned?
Once a year for a home machine, every six months for a gaming PC, a computer standing on the floor, or a home with pets.

Will cleaning stop the noise?
In most cases yes. If noise remains, it’s usually a worn fan bearing — replacing the fan is inexpensive and solves it.

The computer shuts down by itself — is it definitely cooling?
It’s the most common cause, but not the only one. A weak power supply or a motherboard fault behave the same way. Our diagnosis includes load temperatures and voltage stability checks.

Do you use good thermal paste?
Yes, we work with high-grade compounds. In special cases, at the customer’s request, liquid metal is possible — we’ll explain the benefits and risks first.

What’s the difference between partial and full disassembly?
Partial means cleaning without removing components — faster and cheaper. Full means taking components out of the case and cleaning each part separately; that’s what’s needed when the machine is heavily soiled or already overheating.
