Computer Lab Regulations – COMP-MASTER
(Updated in accordance with Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law, effective August 14, 2025)
- All prices are quoted including VAT, unless otherwise expressly stated.
- All repairs are performed at the COMP-MASTER service center only; we do not send the device to third-party laboratories. Therefore, prices are competitive and repair times are correspondingly short.
- An inspection/quote fee will be charged if the customer does not approve the repair. Updated details appear in the price list:
Laboratory services price list . - Labor prices do not include the cost of spare parts, unless otherwise specified.
- Working hours do not include time required for data backup/recovery. Required parts may not be immediately available; part delivery time from a local supplier is usually up to 3 business days. A part can be ordered prior to arriving at the lab.
- Backup and data loss: The laboratory is not responsible for the material/data stored on the device and for damage/loss of data for any reason. It is the customer’s responsibility to perform a full backup before submitting for repair.
- At the customer’s request, a backup/restore service can be performed for a separate fee, subject to a price quote and written approval. Any malfunction discovered during this process is not the responsibility of the laboratory.
- Opening a device and voiding the manufacturer’s warranty: For testing, it is sometimes necessary to open/disassemble components. Opening may result in voiding the manufacturer’s/importer’s warranty for a product not purchased from us. Sending the device for testing constitutes authorization to open it for diagnostic purposes.
- Diagnostic and repair times:
Inspection time – up to 3 business days (or more depending on load; the customer will be informed upon receipt).
Repair time – up to 3 business days from the date of completion of the diagnosis and receipt of the customer’s approval, unless a different time is provided upon receipt.
Component-level repair (such as a motherboard) – diagnosis time up to 7 business days; if parts need to be ordered from abroad, the repair time may be extended (usually up to a month, depending on the type of shipment).
“Business days” – Sunday-Thursday; excluding Friday, Saturday, holidays and holiday eves. - The laboratory may make a repair without further approval from the customer up to the amount shown on the page.
Laboratory services price list . - Services not included in the repair cost (charged separately): password recovery/reset, internet account creation, personal settings, training, installation of software not ordered in advance.
- There may be additional faults that will only be discovered after the main fault has been repaired. In such a case, the customer will be provided with an updated price quote for further work; further treatment will be carried out after the customer’s approval.
- Privacy and Notice When Collecting Information (Amendment 13):
The processing of personal information that occurs when receiving the device, managing an order and providing service is carried out in accordance with COMP-MASTER’s Privacy Policy and forms an integral part of this regulation. Privacy Policy For privacy inquiries and data subject rights: service@comp-master.co.il . - The customer confirms that he has read and understood the regulations and that his terms are acceptable to him. Approval can be given by manual signature, digital signature, SMS/email confirmation or by marking consent in the online form.
